Balanced Success Reduces Health Cost Balance is a word that appears to take the back burner of the employed individual's engines. Individuals either tend to work to death or sluff off, therefore, little balance forms part of one's life. Individuals shackled to computers and the higher levels of executive stress. Balance is not just about the work place it is the missing component which forms the quality of one's personal life and the quality of production. In today's fast lifestyle individuals huddle around a computer or run around with cell phones stuck in one's ear forgetting that quality is quantity within a balanced life. The lack of smiles and chuckles going unnoticed in the workforce. All work and no play does not bring about a productive employee. It is time in the year 2002 to highlight that balance means time with family and friends and invitations to co-workers to join in. Prosper means a place to spend that well deserved time out. Often, this is forgotten as individuals develop a relationship with their work and discard their relationship with family and friends and co-workers. It is time to stop and realize without a balanced life, which must include family and friends the quality and productive employee will in time become a psychological basket case, which each firm will have to deal with. Health cost will sore, sick time will increase and productivity will eventually decrease. Proper time management must include training employees how to have and create quality down time for family, friends and co-workers. This training required as society losses the knack for such interaction. Our youth the greatest victims with the lack of loving contact with family, friends, mom, dad, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles. It is the responsibility of every firm to ensure that employees do exercise quality life skills we need to retrain society to be friendly and balanced.
